The LQDK addresses a specific and important gap in large-block meat product production: the need to simultaneously stretch and tension a large-diameter casing while applying a single, high-force seal clip — a task that manual clipping cannot perform consistently and that double-clipping machines are not designed for in the 120–250 mm casing range.

The stretching function is what separates the LQDK from a standard single clipping machine. When a large meat block is filled into a wide casing, the casing naturally assumes an irregular shape as the meat settles — air pockets form at the ends, the fill density is uneven, and the product cross-section at the clip point is not optimally compressed. The pneumatic stretching mechanism pulls the casing under controlled tension before the clip is applied, compressing the fill and producing a firm, fully-dense product end. The result is the slicing quality that retail and food service buyers specify: clean, consistent slices with no air pockets at the ends.

The 74-large and 74-small U-type aluminum clip compatibility gives the LQDK two sealing force options within the same machine — the 74-large clip for high-density products in the upper end of the 120–250 mm casing range, and the 74-small for lighter products where a slightly lower sealing force is appropriate. Switching between the two clip sizes requires changing the clip magazine, which is a quick operator-level procedure.

At 35 kg, the LQDK is portable within the facility and can be repositioned to pair with different upstream filling machines without requiring a layout change. The 0.6–0.8 MPa operating pressure is at the upper end of standard workshop compressor output — confirm your air supply capacity before ordering if you are running multiple pneumatic machines on the same compressor circuit.

Controlled Casing Tension Before Clipping

The LQDK’s pneumatic stretching system applies controlled tension to the casing at the clip point before the clip is pressed. This tension serves two purposes: it compresses the meat fill against the casing wall, eliminating the air pocket that forms at the end of a large-block filled casing; and it presents a smooth, uniformly-tensioned casing surface to the clip die, which produces a cleaner, more consistent clip formation than clipping a loose or irregular casing surface.

Full Product Density at the Clip End

For sliced products — ham, salami, beef roll — the first and last slices from each unit are the quality test that retail buyers use to evaluate the product. Air pockets, loose fill, or irregular cross-section at the clipped ends produce undersized or structurally compromised end slices. The LQDK’s stretching function ensures that the fill is fully compressed at the clip point before sealing, which means the first slice from a clipped product end is as dense and uniform as slices from the centre.

Adjustable Stretch Tension for Different Products

The stretching tension is pneumatically adjustable — different products require different tension levels. A firm restructured beef roll in a thick PVDC casing requires higher tension than a delicate lamb product in a thinner collagen casing. The LQDK allows operators to set the tension appropriate for each product without changing machine components, which makes it practical for multi-product operations that run different large-block formats across a production week.
